Sarracenia flava var. cuprea
Sarracenia flava is an American Pitcher Plant found in bogs from Alabama up the eastern seaboard into Virginia. Flava var. cuprea varieties occur in the Carolinas and generally have a copper colored top with pitcher body being more lightly colored. Some clones have veining up the pitcher body. Sunny conditions required for full color and flava produces its best pitchers early in the season.
