Nepenthes spathulata x ampullaria is a beautiful hybrid between 2 very distinct parent species with strong genetics. This is actually a naturally occurring hybrid from intermediate elevation boggy areas in southern Sumatra where these species grow sympatrically. All plants are from a single clone and exhibit tubby, red pitchers with wide peristomes. We have found these plants to be extremely versatile growers and recommend them for a wide range of conditions from lowland to highland.
