Nepenthes maxima is a highly variable species found throughout Sulawesi, Halmahera, Papua, Papua New Guinea, and the Maluku Islands. This is a spectacular form Nepenthes maxima used extensively in the Borneo Exotics breeding program. It has red striped pitchers complimented by a beautiful glossy red and burgundy peristome. It's also very fast and easy to grow and adaptable to a wide range of conditions. Highly recommended! The plant for sale is a single clone from Borneo Exotics, BE-3067.
